Fertility Preservation

Freezing eggs, sperm or embryos can help safeguard your fertility for the future if you believe it to be at risk. The most common reasons why people choose fertility preservation are because they are about to have chemotherapy or radiotherapy, because of their age, or if they have a dangerous occupation.

Can fertility preservation help me?

If you are considering fertility preservation, you should organise an appointment with one of our fertility specialists, or with one of our fertility counsellors. You will need a referral from your GP or specialist.

If your fertility preservation referral is for oncology purposes, you should mention this at the time of your appointment, to ensure you are seen quickly by a fertility specialist – usually within 24 hours.
